Hey Sister Pretty. Watercolor, Great Blue Heron.

My first painting was a Great Blue Heron, and she was the first painting I ever sold. My first and forever love. I'll never not paint them. Hey Sister Pretty is named after a favorite song of mine, and seeing her displayed in my own town of Mount Pleasant, on the corner of Coleman and Vincent, was so, so special. I painted her a whole lot bluer than a real heron, deep navy with pools of gold where the water settled in her feathers.

Colors: deep blue, indigo, soft white and golden ochre.

This is an authenticated, archival Fine Art Print of my original watercolor, on heavy-weight archival paper with a texture that closely resembles the original. Each print includes my signature. Prints are made to order, so please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your order to arrive. Available unframed in 5x7, 8x10, 11x14 and 16x20 inches.
