This one is special to me. I named him Presence because that is what he evokes. Being present in the very moment I'm in is something I try to stay mindful of, and I believe peace is available to us in absolutely every moment. Night herons may be my very favorite bird, and presence is my very favorite place to be, so here we are.

He sits low and round in profile, and I painted his black cap and back in deep navy, a little bluer than the real bird, over soft grey wings.

Colors: deep navy, soft grey and white.

This is an authenticated, archival Fine Art Print of my original watercolor, on heavy-weight archival paper with a texture that closely resembles the original. Each print includes my signature.
