I painted her in gold metallic watercolor on black paper, ring after ring after ring. So many lines. Fine gold lines follow the uneven curves of the tree rings, the narrow ones gathering into broader, irregular bands and running off the edge of the paper. I love the quiet repetition of those lines and the sense of life held within them.

Colors: gold on black.

This is an authenticated, archival Fine Art Print of my original watercolor, on heavy-weight archival paper with a texture that closely resembles the original. Each print includes my signature.
